Privacy policy

This explains what The Money Map System, run by AB Studio, collects and how it's used. The short version: your money data is yours, it's private to your account, and we don't sell it.

What we collect

Account: your email address, used to sign you in with one-time codes and send you the emails you choose.
Purchase: payment is handled by Stripe. We receive your email, the amount and the date. We never see or store your card number.
What you enter: bills, balances, income, expenses, categories, grant applications and your business profile.
Statement files: CSV files you import are read in your browser. Only the transactions you choose to import are saved.
Affiliate links: if you arrive through an affiliate link, we store the affiliate's code in your browser for 60 days and count the click.

What we don't do

We never ask for your bank login.
We don't sell or rent your data.
We don't show ads.

Who processes it

We use Supabase (database and sign-in), Netlify (hosting), Stripe (payments), Resend (email) and Anthropic (the AI writer). When you use the AI writer, the grant details, notes, profile and answer you send are passed to Anthropic's API to create the response.

Who can see your data

Your app data is locked to your account by database security rules. We only access it when needed to run the service, fix a problem you report, or when required by law.

Emails

We send sign-in codes, receipts, reminders and the monthly grant list. Turn reminders and the grant list off anytime under Account in the app.

Deleting your data

Email staff@anabrandt.com from your account email and we'll delete your account and data. We keep purchase records as required for taxes and accounting.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored with access rules that limit each account to its own records. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't store things like full account numbers or passwords in notes.
